The dead ancestors of King Venceslas of Poland appear, in immoderate costume, to Bougrelas in a mountain cave where he hides after fleeing from the heinous crime, the killing of his father, King Venceslas, by Pere Ubu, Mere Ubu and their henchman, Captain Bordure.
